There is a possibility of a collision with a planet called Nibiru. (they should say a possible collision or a near-hit) which most groups believe will happen sometime around 2012 or 2013. Supporters in this Prophesy refer to this planet as Planet X or Nibiru 2012.
Nancy Lieder claims to have had a implant put into her brain and now she can communicate with extra-terrestrial beings. Mrs. Lieder stated she had been told she was chosen to warn people about an event that was going to happen around May of 2003. The prediction has been duplicated throughout several interne groups propagating this prophesy. Although the name “Nibiru” is derived from the works of writer Zecharia Sitchin and his tranaslation of Babylonian and Sumerian writing, Dr. Sitchin denies any connection between his work and various claims of a coming apocalypse
The idea that a planet-sized object could possibly collide with Earth in the near future is not supported by any scientific evidence and has been roundly rejected as pseudoscience by astronomers and planetary scientists. Lieder first came to public attention on internet newsgroups during the build-up to Comet Hale-Bopp’s 1997 perihelion.

She stated, speaking as the Zetas, that “The Hale-Bopp” comet does not exist. The story was created so that the people would be misdirected. If you Google her you can still see here original statement concerning Nibiru 2012, the statement is changed now. Her claims eventually made the New York Times.
Lieder described Planet X as roughly four times the size of the Earth, and said that its perigee would occur on May 27, 2003, resulting in the Earth’s rotation ceasing for exactly 5.9 terrestrial days. This would be followed by the Earth’s pole destabilizing in a pole shift (a physical pole shift, with the Earth’s pole physically moving, rather than a geomagnetic reversal) caused by magnetic attraction between the Earth’s core and the magnetism of the passing planet. This in turn would disrupt the Earth’s magnetic core and lead to subsequent displacement of the Earth’s crust.
Because of the 2003 date event not happening she released a statement saying that it was ruse to fool the establishment. If the “establishment” already knew then who was she really fooling? Now she has moved the date of nibru 2012.

Common mistakes to avoid when researching Nibiru 2012 theories

1. First of all, do not believe everything you read, see watch or listen to!

2. Do your due diligence and research the author, are they an expert on the subject?

3. Be watchful of the overrun on words, are they stretching the information to pull you along or is it good sound data.

4. Keeping an open mind about nibiru 2012 theories is a good thin, but don’t be fooled by things that have not been explained thoroughly.
