Wow!  May 21 2011 is just around the corner.  I hope you are all ready. If I had a dollar for every time someone tried to predict the end of the world….. Anyway,  here we go again. No wonder it is hard to get people to believe that real threats to this planet exist like approaching comets asteroids or even planet X  for that matter. We are bombarded with claims like this one, people who somehow know the actual day and hour  of the end of the world.  Now to give (Harold Camping) the person credit who started this big buzz about may 21, he may be right about increasing earthquake activity and he may be right that there will be a big one on May 21 but to add the claim of the end of the world and then on top of that he is calling it Judgement Day which is to say that The Lord is coming on that day to judge the whole world,,,, well that  is a bit out of order.   Mainly because if he really believes in Jesus and the  Holy Bible he would know that it is written that no man will know the hour or the day but he shall know the season.

This 89 year old Bible teacher in California,  Harold Camping says that based on his study of the book of Daniel and other text in the Holy Bible that the end of the world will come on May 21st, 2011 at about 6pm.

Now lets try to forget that he has made this claim before. He said that the end would come Sept 6, 1994. After that day passed he admitted to have made mistakes in his calculations.

Here are three major fallacies with this new claim based it on the writings of  The Holy Bible because he claims that is his source of prophecy:

1. The book of Mathew chapter 24 verse 36  says that no man will know the day or the hour but you can know that you are headed into the season of the end.

2. The book of Acts chapter 1 verse 7 says it is not for us to know the times or the epochs which the father has fixed by his own authority.

3. Revelation chapter 17 describes the political scene of the last days and chapter 18 describes the very day which does describe the earth quake that flattens the great worldly city of sin.  But we are not to the  point of a one world governing system yet as described in chapter 17 where not only does God describe the conditions of society in a vision to John but he also lets the angle interpret the vision to John in common terms which reveal  a precise one world governing system by which the eighth sitting president will be the actual son of perdition.  We do not have a one world governing system so it will not be doomsday on may 21st 2011.

So Harold would have been better off to read more of the written word of God and less of his own chicken scratch and stuck to a prediction of an earth quake on that day instead of predicting The End OF The World via The Great Day of Judgement.

The Bible says to expose false prophets and I say once a false prophet always a false prophet.  Most true Christian readers know this and feel more sorry for Harold than afraid of his prediction but if you do a google search on the may 21st prediction you will find mostly blog and news postings by non- Christian individuals, groups and organizations taking this news and simply  making fun of Christianity when they should be making fun of Harold Camping.   The irony is that something evil gave Harold this information and now that same something evil is laughing at not harold but Christianity in general.   And I will promise you that weather we get any kind of an earthquake or not on May 21st,  2011,  the same evil people who wrote of his prediction will make fun of  Harold and Christianity for his failed prediction  on May 22nd 2011.

We can sit here in Hawaii after the excitement of the hurricane, they have provided is not affected and was reduced to a tropical depression. As a member of the Emergency Response Team CERT Municipal here in Maui, which is being prepared for installation of civil defense. I feel very moved and grateful for all the beautiful people and volunteers who worked so hard to be ready for the storm as best as possible for several hours.

And this grace to be saved from a hurricane and experience all things as loss of life and the computer. I was very happy to be part of something larger and more focused on the large image as my own welfare. You should try it, how exciting!

I took this challenge in a week does not read books or newspapers, do not watch movies or television. It was an interesting experience! Suddenly, you have all this time extra in their hands and what to do with it? For me it was a moment I thought more, visit the friends I have not seen in a while, put my closet in an orderly Sat and just to myself with the reflection and contemplation.
