Does anyone know what actually will happen in 2012?

Anybody out there know? From what I hear YouTube video on December 12, 2012 (12/12/2012). The Earth will end by water, it seems strange, because even in the Bibble, said the world will end in the water. Then I saw the video on youtube anouther state of ING in 2012, the Earth line up in anouther planet called (Planet X). And on this planet will alien lifeforms, my father says that Planet X is all made up to scare peolpe, but I realized that there is a movie coming out this year 2008, December 12, and his name (The Day the Earth Stood Still).
